Michael Laurence, Founder and Creative Director
During my 20+ year career as a brand design leader, I’ve had the opportunity to create best-in-class solutions for some of the world’s most influential brands in the technology, fashion, and entertainment industries. Employing a unique combination of intuitive creative expression and strategic design thinking, I’ve built and led both agency and in-house creative teams, honing my skills creating brand systems, product identities, global events, retail marketing, and custom typography, engaging social campaigns, and more. Throughout my career, I’ve also maintained a passion for working with local and regional brands to help them realize their creative vision—specializing in hospitality, retail, entertainment, and the arts. This journey culminated with the founding of Thematic in June 2019.
